Mental problems are barriers to beliefs.

Today, I want to talk about the main mental problem that creates debilitating beliefs within us.

The most critical mental problem is generalization. What is meant by generalization? We all have to make generalizations in life. Our ability to get off the floor and walk across the room comes from confidence that the ground beneath our feet will support us. If we had doubts about this, we could not do it, and we would remain motionless in our place out of fear. But the fact is that we have learned to generalize that the Earth usually supports us, and we never ask ourselves whether the planet will help us or not.

Or when we reach a door handle! Have you ever wondered what the mechanism of this handle is like? Maybe it has a new mechanism? Or did you pull it down like all the handles and open the door? How did you know not to push this knob up or in?

Generalizing: mental problem or gift?
We can perfectly open the door without analyzing and spending time, but the matter continues. Sometimes, this generalization does not help us. For example, if someone has harassed us many times, we attribute this to their race, city, male, female, or boss instead of seeing who that person is. All of you have heard such sentences: women… men…

If the blanks are positive cases, there is no problem, but unfortunately, we generalize the negative instances more quickly.

With the law of attraction, we must approach every moment, every relationship, and every situation with a completely new framework in order to discover and explore.

If we put someone in a certain mold and framework, we will look for ways to support it, and since he is a seeker, we will find those ways.

An instructive story
You have probably heard this famous story: a man woke up in the morning and saw his ax missing. He immediately suspected his neighbor and saw that the person was a professional thief. He walked like a thief, chatted like a thief, and even dressed like a thief. Just as he was about to go to the judge, he found his ax, which his wife had moved. Then he went out again. He saw his neighbor walking like a nobleman, dressing like a nobleman, and talking like a nobleman.

We never see things as they are. We pass and see all issues through the filter of our beliefs.

You must have argued with someone for a long time about which actor or footballer is better. Interestingly, in such cases, it is clear from both people’s gestures, faces, and words that they are confident in what they say. These two people see differently even when they watch football or movies.

A more straightforward example: no mother accepts that her child has problems. If some people get out of the way, usually all the mothers say that their child is pure, and his friends make him out of the way, and his friends fool him. My child is straightforward. No mother will accept that maybe her child has misled someone. It is not that she wants to show this issue in front of people like this, but that the mother really passes her child’s behavior through the filter of her beliefs.

A good example of this is glasses. If you wear green glasses, you will see green all around, but unfortunately, the glasses of beliefs have been with us so much that we think we don’t have glasses, and we see right while others see wrong.

If we hear from someone—especially someone we like very much—that we’re awkward, we’ll look for evidence of this, and we’ll find it. For this reason, more than 90% of our beliefs are formed in childhood, when our parents are the unconditional heroes of our lives.

Do not create mental problems for our loved ones:
The greatest gift we can give our children is self-confidence—just confidence.

Anthony Robbins says: “Man is a machine for proving his beliefs.”

How beautiful this sentence is. What does a meat grinder do? It only grinds meat.

How about a juicer? It only takes juice.

A vacuum cleaner?

Man is a machine for proving his beliefs: He can only prove his beliefs and look for evidence to confirm them.

Let’s not create mental problems for our fellow humans, especially our children.
